ABOUT TECHNESIOLOGY:
Widespread availability of the scriptures following the invention of the printing press in the 15th century had a profound impact on the church. Reformer Martin Luther himself remarked that "Printing is the ultimate gift of God and the greatest one". Many contemporary pundits argue that recent advancements in digital technology are now fueling an equally significant period of change in the church.

Churches of all shapes and sizes are struggling to absorb technology advancements in a manner that preserves both biblical orthodoxy and cultural engagement. The TECHNESIOLOGY blog seeks to assist church leaders and technologists in this task by providing strategic, theological, and tactical perspectives on the use of technology in the church.

My name is Rich Mulley and I've been a technologist for 40 years and a church leader for 35. In 2015, I turned my technical skills toward the church as part of a new church plant, and have since gained experience in steering churches through a complex maze of digital technology focused on worship, music, and online presence. My particular concern is with helping houses of worship produce the best possible results with limited resources. I currently serve as the volunteer technical director at Center Grace Church in Beverly, Massachusetts (centergrace.church).

The word TECHNESIOLOGY is a blend of the words technology and ecclesiology, the study of the Church.
